I PAIRED UP WITH A GTX 1060 AND IM ABLE TO PLAY BATTLEFIELD 1 ULTRA SETTING 1080P 60+ FPS. IN CSGO ALL HIGH 4K ITS ABOUT 120 FPS, IN MY RES WHICH IS 1024X(IDK I FORGOT ITS 7SOMETHING) STRETCH ALL HIGH ITS ABOUT 300 FPS, IN BIOSHOCK INFINITE MAX SETTINGS ITS 60+ FPS, OVERWATCH ULTRA 1080P 100+FPS, H1Z1 MAX SETTINGS 1080P 90+FPS. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CPU THAT CAN HANDLE CPU INTENSE GAMES THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE.
so its not as fast as overclocking i7 but for the amazing price its pritty good. the stock cooler that came with it is small and super easy to install. popped in so easy i was concerned i didn't do it right. came with thermal gel pre-installed. overall no problems. im working out driver bugs on all the parts but the problems are probally my fault. 5 stars. best for the price. no real hidden cons. it obviously doesn't have some features that the 4.2 i7s have but it was also $189 when i got it, so yeah.

Pros price/ performance general speed sufficient for overall use
Summary so its not as fast as overclocking i7 but for the amazing price its pritty good. the stock cooler that came with it is small and super easy to install. popped in so easy i was concerned i didn't do it right. came with thermal gel pre-installed. overall no problems. im working out driver bugs on all the parts but the problems are probally my fault. 5 stars. best for the price. no real hidden cons. it obviously doesn't have some features that the 4.2 i7s have but it was also $189 when i got it, so yeah.
Summary great value. no problem multitasking battlefield, dota and YouTube streams at the same time. paired with a gtx 970 and works great. probably good for another few years. Intel has a lockdown in CPUs.
Cons Not unlocked Doesn't have SBA (don't need it anyway)
Summary I like this chip. The onboard graphics actually aren't bad. They aren't going to stand up to a GTX or Radeon card but will hold up to some simple gaming. With my Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer 120 I also can't break +10 degrees over room temperature running flat out for 30 minutes using BurnInTest. Very impressed so far.
Pros Great processor Quad core Does not run hot even with stock cooler
Summary Cannot think of anything bad about this CPU. This is good for someone who wants a great processor without the need for over clocking. I've thrown multitasking and games with no stuttering or issues.
Summary I have only had the product for a couple of days now, and haven't gotten to put it to the test yet. So far, it's working like a charm. It arrived in a timely fashion, and hasn't shown any signs of not functioning properly. I'll update the review if that changes.
Summary Great CPU, but in my opinion a bit expensive considering the limited improvement seen over the last few generations. Still, there aren't many alternatives and if you are looking for good bang/buck ratio it is a good choice.
Cons not the K version, but perfect for non overclocking user.
Summary It performs really well, i had another i5 before and this CPU is perfect for most users. gaming and photo editing are well processed so far. It consumes 65W, which is less power than most AMD CPUs and leaves more breathing room for smaller power supply.
Pros Great power when needed, very low power consumption when idle
Summary Performs great in my development workstation. Integrated graphics are adequate for my needs. Coupled with an ASRock Z170 ITX motherboard, I can drive 3 monitors without the need for a discrete graphics card. Very satisfied.
I did end up replacing the stock heat sink and fan with a higher quality low-profile Noctua model for better heat dissipation and lower noise.
Pros Easy to install, Heatsinks from the previous generation work with these chips.
Cons a little on the pricey side.
Summary Good product. I purchased it with a motherboard and ram. No issues getting it all working. I found this one to be good value for the money. The unlocked version was more than I wanted to spend and I would likely not need the little extra processing power from overclocking it.
Summary The MSI motherboard that I used did not allow me to set the resolution higher than 1440p. My monitor was 1600p Fine CPU, runs cool, boxed cooler is very basic, with plastic pods. Otherwise very good.
Pros Very Fast Processing... Unzipping Archives Is Quick.. Good For Gaming And Better Than the i5 4690 for the same price (Better Performance And Integrated Graphics)
Cons - Not Good For Hackintosh (And For Linux Because the integrated graphics is not compatible and the motherboard that fit with this processor are too much new so you will not have sound drivers... - Not Officialy Compatible With More Than 2133mhz Ram So When I shut down my computer I Have to wait for 2 minutes before reopening it or the bios reset itself and i have sometimes bugs with integrated graphics at this frequence.. (Anyway faster ram is only important when using integarted graphics)
Summary Good Processor For Windows Users....(especialy if you want good integredt graphics whitout going to the AMD side)
Cons - Do not use stock thermal pads! They didn't work for me
Summary I was disappointed to see the three cheap looking thermal pads on the stock heatsink. I gave a whirl anyway and my PC kept registering that it was running 99+ degress celcius most of the time. Idle was 60 degrees celcius. Not cool Intel... Anyway, a few extra dollars to buy Arctic Silver 5 paste from a local store, and now were at normal temps.
Summary I Needed to Find A CPU For My Build, And From My Research I ended Getting This one. It is Fast And runs Cool. This is My First Build and upgrading from a 7 Year old Computer is a Big Boost! Only Ran This For a Couple of Days So Far And Never Had A Hiccup Yet. Took A Few weeks to Get it as it is a New Processor and Demand is Very High At the Moment. It is Well Worth The Wait!
