I ordered this for TekSavvy but the TekSavvy web site currently states that for this particular modem, they require hardware version 1.0 and firmware version STFC.01.01 (at this writing). Unfortunately, nobody at NCIX could confirm if this modem meets those requirements. I ordered it anyway (took the chance) and the info isn't documented anywhere on the box or the modem itself. You need to log into the modem to confirm it. I did and it does explicitly show the hardware version and firmware meet TekSavvy's requirements. I'm now using it with TekSavvy and there are no problems so far (after a week of use but in theory there shouldn't be any issues at this point). Note BTW that TekSavvy also confirmed the modem meets their requirements based on its serial number which I provided before installation. Presumably it's the identical modem they sell but at a higher cost. If you purchase from NCIX however, you can order it to a local store if there's one in your area, and save the delivery charge. Call your local store to confirm this but that's how I purchased it. (Read More)

I am using this with VMedia, as a third party reseller of Shaw's cable network, in North Vancouver. It has been cranking away for a month now, three times as fast as my previous ADSL connection, without any hiccups.
