Got this on sale for $90 a few months back and its great. Installation was a breeze. I've read a lot of reviews about how the mounting bracket is loose.. Its supposed to be. If it wasn't, it would damage your motherboard. After all the screws are tightened on the cpu mounting bracket, everything tightens up. There is a solid connection between the block and cpu.

quiet, well built, corsiar link, 4 fan hookups

extra cables are small and thin, and can be cluttery

love this! easy install and great performance. used on a mitx board and didn't have enough fan headers to power all the case fans. the pumpblock comes with 4 fan power leads (2 for rad fans and 2 extra for push/pull or chassis fans).
buy another for my next build.

This is a great cooler. I replaced my standard air cooler with this one and my temps at full load on my Core i5 4670k at 4.6GHz is around 65 degrees. This is for sure a must buy for anyone looking to overclock their cpu.

Amazing cooler at a great price when on sale. The Corsair Link software allows you to easily adjust fan speeds and change the led color on the water block. This cooler seems to be going strong so far and is performing great!

Efficient, keeps everything nice and cool, don't have to deal with a massive air cooled heat sink, simple to install.
|
Fans are ridiculously loud with the default fan curve at load. Setting the curve to quiet mode in the Corsair Link2 software helps, but then they don't move much air. Also, the Link2 software lacks polish somewhat. The functionality is there, but they could use to put a little more development time into making it smoother and more intuitive.
|
Overall I like everything about this setup except the fans. It was very easy to get going and is a nice, simple compromise between air cooling and going full-custom liquid. The only thing I would suggest changing are the fans - they're higher RPM versions of Corsair's SP120s (model SP120L for these ones), but without the rubber isolation blocks in the corners or the trim rings. They're decent fans (with very high static pressure rating), they just don't seem to be really great fans. I will be replacing them with Noctua NF-F12s, we'll see if that improves things any.

Built very sturdy All in one unit, no fussing with fluid includes fans and all mounting hardware excellent when on sale
|
size of the radiator blocks the next space where a fan would mount
|
when planning to mount the radiator, be mindful that each end sticks out another 3/4inch and (in my case, corsair 800D) it will block the next spot for an additional fan... As well the radiator screws dont thread fluidly, you have to somewhat push it through at times... holds very well after all is said and done.
make sure you plug the 3 pin connector specifically into 'cpu_fan' lead on the motherboard.... i accidentally plugged it into an accessory fan lead and BIOS didnt like that.

led on the cooler, ilink software, keeps it cool
|
backplate install, no windows 8.1 support
|
overclocked my i5 4670K to 4.4 idle under 30, load sits around 50
backplate when you install it, it fits lose, makes you question the whole water install, but after you tighten the pump down it all tightens up.
windows 8.1 support, ilink didnt work when i first installed it, had to do some registry editing to get it to work properly.
How To Fix
1. Use at own risk 2. Download "CorsairLink-Installer-RC-v2.4.5110.exe" 3. Open "regedit" 4. Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Enum > USB > VID_1B1C&PID_0C04 > 5&28a8b183&0&2 > Device Parameters > 5. Change All REG_DWORD to Value 0 6. Exit 7. Restart PC
love the led on the cooler gives it an awesome look and feel, quality

Work, corsair link.

I find it make noise, and I am at 30 at idle and 60-69 at full load with prime95 (4770k no OC)
|
thinking to get 2 more fan, maybe with my case the air flow isnt that good at the top and this will help to put the air to the right place: out. Better like my noctua air cooling on my i7 920, its noiseless, not less effective and with a lower cost.

I bought this cooler to replace my old air cooler and I have to say I'm sold. This is a quality cooler, my I7 4770Ks4.7GHZ idles at 27 degrees Celsius, and during gaming it peaks off at 47 degrees Celsius, I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of this cooler, although the fans are really loud when at full load.

This cooler is amazing. I idle around 20C and my max temp is around 45C at stock speeds. Some overclocking yet to come in the next few days. Note if you are looking to buy, check your case compatibility. I had to mount the fans on the outside of the case and my radiator in the inside. Still it works like a beauty.

i bought this beast to cool down my AMD FX8320. I was running 42 idle and 55 during gaming.v oem clock with this cooler ive got 30 v idle 40v100% v 4.6ghz oc extremelly happy with it.
The only problem ive got is the installation my case was not supporting it so i had to cut the case the radiator is huge (so if you were looking at the Aerocool Xpredator X1 you will have to cut the top)
the software that corsair provide is just amazing a lots of option for the fan the pump even the led on the pump can illuminate the color you want very good stuff

-Noisy pump -Stock fans are even noiser -CorsairLink didn't work for Windows 8.1 until I did a regedit
|
Very easy to install cooler for my i7 4770k. Build quality isn't as good as the swiftech h220's (I had 2 of those DOA, so I switched to Corsair).
Fans and cooler are pretty loud. I switched the fans for the Noctua F12's and its pretty silent on idle. With IntelBurnTest running at full load, the pump temp remained around 34-35 and Noctua fans spun at around 1000-1200 RPMS.
Pretty happy with purchase, but would have rather had the Swiftech.

Corsair's fans arent great at all, very loud and bad quality

Pump is not dead silent as corsair said but still, i'm a noise freak, can't realy get that thing with no sound so i wasnt expecting better. I switch to noctua fans, sound drop alot. I can only hear the noise pump but it is very very low at least.

Good cooling, easy installation, good management software, extra fan channels, low maintenance, cool LED logo on pump/block
|
hose length
|
I bought this to install on a GTX 560 Ti card to improve cooling and get rid of a wobbly fan on the stock cooler. The hoses were not long enough to reach a suitable mounting point. A couple inches would have made it work.
As a CPU cooler, this unit works really well. The fans run full throttle on startup, which is noisy, but settle after a few seconds. The management software is really nice, as is the extra fan control channels. One unexpectedly handy feature is the LED logo on the pump/block. The logo changes colour with heat, so it makes for a nice visual indicator.

Quiet, slick design, keeps the cpu cool. Led can be colored to your liking or by temperature with the Corsair Link Dashboard.
|
Large case size needed to support it's size, the big hydro cables might get in the way if you don't pay attention to your wiring.
|
To go with my i7-4770k, I needed to make sure the cooling was efficient for overclocking purposes. CPU is at a 30°C on average and peaks at 40°C under load. Aside from it's size, this cpu cooling system is not a buyer's remorse.

temperature - about 10-20% cooler than my old hyper 212 plus. Max temp dropped from 70C to 60C at same clock speed.
|
lousy fans - they are extremely loud at start up, but luckily you have a software to control the fan speed. You can replace them if you can afford better fans.
|
this cookie cutter is built to outperform any air cooler while being affordable. Compared to a real open-loop liquid cooling system, it is maintenance free and cheaper even though it may not be as cool. However it's still a great buy if you are looking for something between air and the open-loop liquid cooling system. I'd recommend this to any beginner pc builders or enthusiasts who don't want to fill the liquid all the time.

Stock Fans Corsair Link Fan Controller Cables
|
Had to RMA my first H100i, and NCIX was AWESOME in their response and turnaround time! Customer service here is why I order again and again!
My 2nd H100i is great. I replaced the stock fans, which were a little noisy with 4 SP120 PWM High Performance edition fans. The only issue I've had is that one of the cables that connects the H100i to the fans is faulty - I've put in a request to Corsair to replace it.
I have the unit front-mounted in a Fractal Design R4 in push/pull configuration, and the fan wires and coolant tubes are *just* long enough to reach.
My i5-2500k is clocked to 4.9 GHz, and under Prime 95 with the fans in QUIET mode (topping out at 1100 rpm), temps don't go over 65C after 6 hours. This is a full 10C lower than the H60 in push/pull.
Long story short - GET THIS COOLER! If you want a fast and quiet system, replace the stock fans with SP120's and put it in a nice, quiet case like the Fractal Design Define R4.

-Easy to install -Great look -Led color is customizable -Able to maintain good temperatures even with high voltage settings o Was able to overclock i5 4670k to 4.4 ghz with vcore at 1.31v stable Unfortunaly my Haswell processor needed higher than average voltage for stability After 2 hours of Aida64 stability test: Max core temps was 86 Celsius, no throttling During Gameplay (League of Legends, Bioshock Infinite, Battlefield 3 Multiplayer): Max core temp was 71 Celsius
|
-Corsair link 2 software is not reliable at all -Asus ai suite iii is way better for fan control and monitoring
|
On stock clocks this cooler is extremely good. Idles at 25-30 Loads 35-40
I feel it performs even better when trying to overclock.
I bought a i5 haswell cpu with less than average overclockability. I was able to push that bad cpu to 4.5 at 1.35v with aida64 running for 1h. Max temps were at 90.(Didn't try running games)
CPU was hot but vcore was quite high.
Corsair software are still buggy

Outstanding product. I wanted to replace my thermaltake watercooling from the GT 10(had to refill it once for a while). With the corsair H100i I'm getting better results : idle temp around 35-40°C. 100% load CPU temp around 55°C max. Unlucky me, when I bought it for the first time the product was unfortunatly faulty (idle temp around 55°C and 100% load around 90°C.) Second time, got the new one running smooth.

The H100i keeps my I7 cpu very cool under normal operations and is very quiet. I did stress it with Prime95 for a few minutes and I could start to hear the fans speed up and my cpu temperature rose from around 28C to 32C. I am very happy with the product. Totally not mentioned in the manual is the included second fan power cable for an additional 2 fans which are not included.

|
Cooling not much different than air cooler
|
Both hardware and software install was easy. I contacted Corsair for backplate to fit my LGA 775 socket Mobo and their response was excellent. However I am not seeing the drop in CPU temps that I was hoping for. I previously had a Zalman 92mm LED CPU Cooling Fan - Curved Heatpipe Design, Multi-socket Support, 2 Ball-bearing (CNPS9500A LED)installed and temps hovered around 30-45C depending on the core and load on my Q9450. That's pretty much what I am getting now on the balanced profile in Corsair Link. I'm getting 29-44 with fans at full speed. The cooler is installed in an Azza 2000 case and I left the top fans in for what I hope is a push pull configuration. So for 2 times the price of my Zalman I'm getting about the same performance. Hmmmm????

Has some minor issues in the Cosmos 2 depending on your board.
|
This cooler is great. It's a piece of cake to install, and looks good. Thank god they went with a SATA power connector this time around as well instead of Molex. The fans are gray, and to me that is a great aesthetic as it goes with everything. Only issue I have with it is with my case/motherboard. If you have a big top VRM heatsink, push/pull may be a tight fit. I have mine on intake on the top of my Cosmos II case, and it keeps my 3770k cool at 4.9GHz and 1.2v.

Cost when NOT on sale! Thermal Paste
|
Got this on sale, and I must say it is working well; it runs a little cooler than my 212 that I had to replace when i changed into a smaller case. With that said however, I did have some issues. I did find that the thermal paste was lackluster, and I ended up replacing it with some arctic silver that dropped the temps around 10c at full load. Fans are load over 1500rpm (then again what fan isnt!). However i do suggest using a fan controller, i was not a huge fan of corsair link.

Control/power ports for up to 4 fans. Corsair fan monitoring & control software is excellent. Fan speeds are fully customizable in software so they can be run at low speeds/quietly when not needed. Can be combined with other Corsair water cooling products such that they can all be software-managed.
|
Doesn't fit in the top of all cases. Very loud under full load. Corsair software is a bit buggy.
|
I recently bought this for overclocking my i7 950. My previous cooler was a Noctua NH-U12P. While OCing at 3.8ghz my i7 was easily exceeding 100 C at full load. I think this was partially due to my case configuration since I have a lanboy air so this review is a bit of an apple and oranges comparison. When I installed the H100i my temperatures went down to a stable 70 C at full load. I'm currently running at 4.2 ghz and the processor idles around 40 C and at full load is around 75 C. I did have some issues installing the H100i into my lanboy air case. Since the cooler is all-in-one it's not possible to use the lanboy air's intended design for water cooling which puts the radiator on top of the case with water tubes entering the case at the back. (Didn't realize this until after I bought it.) It's also not possible to install the radiator at the inside top of the case because the external IO cabling gets in the way. I ended up using superglue to attach the radiator (and fans) to one of the cases' side panels. Since the H100i has ports on it for up to 4 fans I added the two Noctua fans to the radiator for a push-pull configuration. I also installed a separate fan in the top of the case so that cool air comes down from above and then out the side through the radiator. This configuration works well because it also provides cooling for my RAM. I also had to remove my rear fan to make space for the radiator which is where I got the extra top fan from. Overall extremely happy with how this cooler has worked out.

Excellent results on my 980x g 4.25 Ghz running 19c to 30c g idle with peak Temps (Linpak ) 71c on hottest Cores, believe about 6c cooler than the old TRUE . Set-up in push mode up top intake from room and "push" thru Radiator. Simple to install, very tiny mod on my TJ09, notched corner bracket so you could properly slide the MOBO tray in and ensure clearance. Also, frees up so much more space over Mobo as no behemoth Cooler w 2 fans !

-One of the best coolers on the market -Fully enclosed with a 5 year warranty straight from Corsair -Corsair Link is a treat to use to manage speeds/temps of this unit/fans/pump PLUS anything else that is compatible(ex. hdd, ssd,GPU) -Easy install on ANY cpu -Bright 256 RGB LED on pump.

-doesn't fit all cases

This is one of the best coolers you can get for your rig in my opinion. The Link system is fully customize-able and allows you to control/monitor your pump speed and temp as well as fan speeds, gpu temp and gpu fan speed, HDD temp and SSD temps(and probably more. That is just what I've used it for thus far.) Can also log and has a 256 RGB LED on the pump(on cpu) that you can have match your own lights or case.

After about 6 months I think I'll be going back to Air cooling. It's quite noisy in comparison and at 3-4x the cost, It's hard to justify. For those of you building a new PC, stick to the Hyper 212 Evo or Noctua NH-D14

The casing for the water block and pump looks very modern and sleek.
|
I bought 2 of these, unfortunately, the green led stopped working after about 3 months on one of the units. 7 months later, the LED's on the seconds unit have stopped working. They light up during boot up, occasionally flickers while system is on. The included fans are also very loud and make sometimes make a grinding sound. There are also occasionally strange sounds that come from the pump, probably because of air bubbles.
|
The ease of using an AIO cooler was the reason I bought this, unfortunately the build quality is questionable. This review was modfied by poster v 07-10-13 09:49 PM

Great temps Great looks Very quiet
|
Stock fans have some issues
|
I got this cooler mostly for looks, but also for the overclocking potential. It has been great on both factors. It is very easy to set up.
One problem i had at the start:
There was a grinding noise coming from the cooler when running the stock fans attached to the pump's power. At first i thought it was the pump, but after some research i realized it was the fans. The easy fix was to run the fans off separate power or the mobo. That fixes it! I want to be able to control the fans' speed, so im ordering some different fans to try to run them off the pump, and see if it has the same issue, or if replacing the stock fans fixes it.
Overall, it is a great cooler, but the fans arent so great. The pump is very quiet at 2k rpm, but the fans are quite noisy, even at very low speeds. New fans are recommended.

Really keep the CPU temps down!
|
Fitment and hardware...
|
I got the H100i with an MSI Z77 MPower, I5 3570k and the MSI Interceptor Series Ravager. It didnt fit out of the box with my mobo/case. The fan wouldnt clear some heatsink at the top of the mobo. I found a workarround... :D
During the installation two screws got stripped when I tight them with a screwdriver... I was a little bit disapointed about the quality of the hardware...
Im running my I5 3570k at 4.7ghz at 1.25V and max temp are arround 60C. :D
So far I'm really happy, but I guess this kit is not always bolt-on in 100% of the situation even if its suppose to be in theory.

Great cooling Very clean look
|
A bit loud at factory settings
|
Delivers great cooling performance for an all-in-one. The LED Corsair logo is completely customizable in terms of colour and lighting mode (on, off, pulse or temperature dependant). It's a little bit noisier than I thought it would be so I will probably be swapping out the included fans for others, also I haven't played with the fan speeds yet either. Still, overall a great product and definitely buy again and recommend.

Cools extremely well. No problems after firmware update

Stock fans a bit loud
|
For all out cooling this is a great choice. It is a bit loud at first. I had the fans plugged into the pump and used the corsair software, but couldn't get the cooling i wanted with acceptable noise levels. I also tried the fans on the motherboard, and fan controller, but ended up swapping them out. They are very high performance, and aren't super loud, but i want a near silent system and swapped them out for noctuas. The led on the pump looks amazing and can be set to change colors at different temps. very cool

-Easy install -Ram accessibility -Good cooling -More room in case -Cooler temps -Corsair link included
|
-A little noisy when fans are WFO
|
Bought this to replace my NH-D14 because I want better access to my ram. I normally do not need to get at my ram but of late I have been fiddling with it a lot. I now have good access with cooler temps. I was running about 70-74C folding with the Noctua and now have 64-67C with the Corsair. I find it a little noisier and am going to eventually put some GT's on to see if they can quiet things down a bit.
