weird card though. on the box it says pcs but there its a sticker. and if you take the sticker off it says pcs+ so yeah that was really confusing . no such thing as a pcs version. couldnt find it anywhere . but other than that great card. (Read More)

This is a awesome card , but a word of warning don't try to crossfire with another 7850 7870 ,crossfire with other Tahti core card such as 7950 or 7970 ,other than that this was a total surprize buy because this is 7950 performance at a fraction of the cost when on sale for 184.99 plus a 30 dollar mail in rebate . These cards are a great deal as long as you want one and only one. I've gone through 4 cards not working in crossfire with each other. In fact, when crossfire is enabled on these cards, it causes massive system instability including (but not limited to), monitor-off system crashing from trying to disable crossfire or trying to uninstall the drivers. System freezing from any attempt at any benchmark including (but not limited to) 3DMark Vantage, 3DMark011, Windows Experience Index Test and Passmark Performance Test. I have tried 4 different sets of ATi drivers and the behaviour of all driver sets were exactly the same. These cards in crossfire even managed to stop mu computer from turning off when I shut down. All of this was confrimed at the Mississauga location's technical department. I think that all these cards have this secret defect that nobody who doesn't use crossfire will ever know about (until they decide to crossfire later on and by then it's too late). This is a great value for anyone who wants a card and has only one PCI-Express slot with no intention of ever running another card with it. If you do want to crossfire, keep looking because this is not the card for you. I have been back and forth to the Mississauga location 4 times and although the service I received was beyond reproach, in the end, I have nothing to show for the time and effort invested. I think that this is the reason why they're being offered so cheap. I'll bet that Powercolor is aware of this problem. I've never seen 4 straight defective cards in a row without the entire line having the same defect. I must assume that this is the case for these cards as well. (Read More)
