Was looking for a small home theatre computer but came across this one on NCIX and decided I loved the looks (Read More)

I bought this case with the specific purpose of removing the front, riveted-in drive cage at the bottom, and the optical cage up top by drilling out the rivets with a 1/8" drill bit in order to add a 240mm or 360mm white radiator in the front, and use the existing 140mm fan holes up top for a white 280mm radiator. I was able to do this and was pleasantly surprised that doing this didn't result in exposed metal on the panels as the case parts are first painted at the factory and then assembled with rivets so this made me very happy. I love the aesthetic and this case is as attractive, though noticeably smaller than the Phantom 530, which is my favorite Phantom looks-wise. You get 5 3.5"/2.5" drive trays, which while functional and easy to use, are not the most robust trays, and would be better with centred SSD mountes. Having used an H440 those drive trays are heads-and-shoulders better in looks, functionality, and build quality.

There is decent space for long video cards, with 290mm available with the middle drive cage installed, and over 400mm without. The two fan spaces in front do a great job of keeping the hard drive bays cool and still have some ventilation going to motherboard components like video, PCIE SSD, or sound cards. That, plus having a bottom fan slot in front of the power supply bay, one exhaust out back, and two intakes/exhausts up top should allow for excellent cooling for air-cooled setups. with up to 6 fans supported, up to 6 x 120mm in front and bottom or, alternatively 140mm fans up top and in the back. The case has a robust and rigid feel even though the top and front panels are plastic. The door opens in the right direction, with the opening on the left, and opens just past 90 degrees for optical bay access, and the optical bay supports tool-less retention as well as screws to hold an optical drive, fan/lighting controller, or bay reservoir. So far my only real nitpick with the case is that due to the compact size, there is a bit of less cable management space behind the motherboard tray at 17mm maximum. In addition a little more space above the motherboard tray for radiator would have been nice, as there is really only 30-35mm space between the edge of the motherboard and top of the metal chassis, though fans go between the metal chassis and top plastic panel (Read More)

The case I received had one default. When you use the screws to fix your motherboard, you need to fix them into the holes made in the case. The problem is that one of the hole wasn't completely working so my screw could only enter by 1/2 height. I didn't want to return it so I made the hole by myself and it worked. I managed to completely fix it into the hole that wasn't working. Otherwise than that, the case was perfect. (Read More)
