Lots of room to work with, excellent layout, great cooling performance.
|
As mentioned in a few other reviews make sure you pull the front panel and check that the power/reset switch are connected. (This was the case with both Z9 Plus's that I purchased)
|
You can't beat this case for Price:Performance. This is the second one I have purchased and with good reason... Buy it.

Cheap, Excellent Layout, Lots of well placed & quiet fans, Looks good. Lots of front USB ports
|
The top cover snaps into place with difficulty and will break with repeated use, Fortunately you don't need to take if off much. No USB 3.0 on the front.
|
For the price I was very surprised with the quality of this case when it arrived. It has excellent circulation, looks good. Layout of hardware is nice. It has an interesting spot for an SSD on the back of the motherboard plate. Nice But I would rather just see that near the other HDD bays. The connectors are clearly labled. Space is ample even for large video cards because the HDD bays point out. The built in case temperature gauge is a nice touch. But the fan speed only controls 2 fans, and they must be both hooked through the same port so your Motherboard will only see them as one.
TLDR: Buy this case. Amazing value.

Solid build

Fans are a little weak but will do the job.
|
At sale price this case was worth every penny. The included fans are kind of weak but they do the job and the LED fans add some nice effects. Fan controller is only as good as the fans they are connected to so unless you get fans with higher RPMS, it will be a little useless. The LED fans do dim with the fan controller so thats a plus.

Very good cable management, nice paint job, case fans included pretty good,Somewhat nice and big on the inside
|
I bought a H100i I had to custom mount it on the top of my case(inside) because of the amount of space on top for the two fans is not enough for it to fit without the radiator hitting either the motherboard or blocking your ram sticks.
|
Overall very good case, nice Led fans for money, good airflow, nice and roomy, everything is well secured with screws, and one hell of a nice case for the money. Would most definitely buy this case again.

Great case! It has a good design making the computer assembly easy. Looks good, it's painted inside and edges are nicely finished. Personally I find the temperature display tacky and useless but hey it's there it you need it. Has great airflow and comes with 4 fans which is amazing at this price. Some people complain about not having the power switch working, if you read the manual it CLEARLY EXPLAINS ON THE FIRST PAGE to plug the darn thing in. Recommend!!!

LOTS of fans, which is amazing for the price,4 mm fans are included, which is great for air flow, and also they are all LEDs so thats a bonus. The quality of the case is also impressive for the price
|
Right side isn't spacious at all for cable management especially if you have a lot of cables with higher end PSUs.
|
The clear side panel is awesome, and also the amount of screws that come with it is really good.

One thing you need to know about me is that I don't care very much about cases, I buy the cheapest case I can, and maximize the money spent on actual components... This case exceeded my expectations ten-fold.
Cable management is excellent, most sub-$70 cases don't have cable management, or it is not good at all.
The mesh provides excellent airflow, and the fan controller on the front is heavenly.
I would have paid $80 for this case... seriously... buy this case...

- Relatively quiet - Good airflow - Great cable management potential - Temperature gauge is a plus
|
- Fans placed on the side panel can create some very loud vibrations.
|
Spent a lot of time deciding on a case for a recent build. It came down to this one and a few others in the $80-$100 price range. I felt this one was ultimately the best value for the features it has. It's a great case for those looking for a little "flash" without being too over-the-top.

|
I'd like to write that if you're buying one, or if this is for your home system and you're on a budget, but you want your rig to look GOOD and stay cool. THIS is your case.
I'm on my 4th build on this case and it's incredible. I can't find anything to complain about and even at retail it's an insane value for the price. You get 4 fans with LED's inside, zapstraps for wiring management, rubber grommets for quiet hdd operation, SSD mount spot, temperature readout, fan speed control, did I mention 4 fans?!
You get tons of screws and materials to get setup with. It's an insanely awesome case I'd struggle to find something negative about it.

Looks good 3x Blue LED 120mm fans 1 white fan Fan Controller controls 2 fans 4X USB Ports
|
side fan is loud move to the top power and power LED not connected 1 stripped out mother board stand off
|
I Had a few problems with my case one was a stripped out mother board stand off.
My case already had 4 stand offs installed one was completely stripped out I ended up using some model ca super glue to glue it.
The screw threads are easy to strip not a good case if you plan on swapping video cards often.
once I had everything installed the power button wasn't working so I carefully then touched the screw driver on the power button pins and it powered up fine.
I then traced the problem down to 2 connectors on the front of the case pulled the front off and clipped the connectors back together have no idea why they where disconnected in the first place.
The USB ports on front are vary tight at first and you almost think your going to brake them and the audio jacks seem to stay vary tight some head phones are better/worse then others.
the fan on the side of the case makes a humming sound from the honey cone grills
I ended up taking the filter from the bottom of the case and put it on the inside of the case between the fan and side of the case and this stopped the humming noise plus filters air going in to the case.
things I liked about this case was the ability to hide wire behind the mother board they could had given another inch of room so wires where not so tight as my main 24pin wires hit the side of the case and there's a bit of a bulge on the side of my case.
The fans this come with are weak 800-900RPM don't move much air at all but are quiet.
I ended up moving the white fan from the back to the top and replaced it with 2200RPM 120mm connected it to mother board with smart fan turned on it runs at 1100RPM and speeds up when things heat up this works nicely.
The case looks decent and has head phone/mic jacks fan speed controller for 2 fans and temp censer 4 USB ports on the front a little storage tray on the top for USB Drives.
This was a good case for the price I paid but I doubt I would pay full price for it but for the sale price it's a great deal would buy another at the sale price If Needed.

I really like this case, was purchased for a build for a family member, the case worked really well for the build and the temp display is pretty cool.
Note: with the power supply we used we needed an 8pin extension cable for the cpu power to allow us to keep the cabling tidy as its better for airflow and the looks better when you look into the side panel..LOVE this case for the price

- Good Cooling - lots of room (for what I was putting in it) - add a couple more fans if wanted (no need really)

- due to all the fans except the exhaust fan being 3 pin connectors some micro boards may not be able to make use of all the fans.

Price, good layout , room and included fans

Instructions are not to good and drive bay knockouts are a bit hard to remove
|
I love my Zalman Z9plus . It looks awesome with the included blue LED fans. It has a great layout and more than enough bays for drives. It has a dedicated space for an SSD on the backside of the motherboard mounting surface . Cable management is great , everything is nicely hidden and tucked away behind the back panel. As for the cons , i found the instructions are a bit lacking and that the drive bay knockouts were a bit hard to remove. Other that that , i would definitely recommend this tower to anyone. For the price , this is awesome .

Lots of fans, okay layout, cheap price.
|
A $10 rebate that is an American Express gift card that expires in 90 days and takes 8-10 weeks to process. That's a CON.
|
Not a bad looking case that comes with 4 fans, 4 front USBs, mic/headphone jacks and temperature display/fan controller on the front. The HDD slots are convienient and there is space for 1 SSD. Time will tell if the fans are noisy and how the layout is for cooling but there are options for even more fans if required (although the noise might become an issue). The side panel is a bit annoying to reinstall. Okay for a budget build but don't count on a rebate to lower the price. Edit: after several weeks of use, I disconnected the side grill fan because of a humming noise. This seems to be because of the holes in the side but might be solved with rubber washers or mounting the fan on the exterior.

- For the price, can't beat it! - Comes with 3 fans! Nice air flows - Temperature display and fan/LED control - Basic cable management but really nice - Enough space for a 560Ti and V8 - Looks great!
|
- Can't turn off the led completely but it's not a big deal
|
Awesome case for the price I was really surprised. Just enough space for a V8 (2-3mm left). Not noisy at all (compared to some reviews).
Also if you want your fan controller to work, you need to plug the fan wires on the back of the case and not on the mobo. And of course don't forget to plug the power on the case.

Lots of fans and ventilation Like the look of it
|
The fans are a bit loud USB plugs in front are tight (read below)
|
I really like the look of this case. When I got it, I also bought some red case fans that I placed beside the blue ones, and now my room is bathed in a rather interesting mix of red and blue, with some purple accents where the light overlaps. There is more than enough space for most of my components, the only problem I had was my PSU (Antec HCG-900) was large enough that I was not able to place a fan at the bottom of the case.
While assembling, I found that getting the top grill off in order to install the top fans was rather difficult, and I was scared of breaking it. The connectors are metal, however, and I was able to use enough pressure and force to get them out in the end.
There was enough included hardware that I did not need to salvage from my old tower, and there is still some left over. The space between the motherboard and the side is also large enough that you can hide your cables there to make for a neater appearance (mine looks like a disaster, but what can I say, it was my first attempt at decent cable management).
While I have not had the problems with the USB plugs not working properly when the fans are plugged in as some people have, I have noticed that the plugs themselves are very tight. It almost feels like I'm going to break something when I plug it in (maybe I've just always had really loose USB ports and didn't realize it until now).
All in all, I would definitely buy this case again.

Lots of room. Easy to use. Cheap(paid $40).
|
Cooling. Be sure to check and adjust the fans, like moving the side fan to blow directly on your video card.
|
Its a decent case except for thermals and air flow. The fans it comes with are relatively wimpy low "Quiet" fans, and the controller is about just as useless(2 fans on a single low power plug). Provided you buy at least 2 decent intake fans(even cheap Coolermaster ones, ~$5 with a price match) it can provide "good enough" cooling.
Wont return it, but also wont buy again.

I had an eye for this case for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. Power supply mounts at the bottom, good cable management options and nice accessories for mounting hard drives and other misscellenious hardware. Only 2 ports for USB 3.0 (On the back)

Overall, I found this case to be very spacious with good ventilation, allowing for optimal airflow. The one small thing that could have been improved on, was the USB 3.0, I was only able to spot 2 of them on the back, which is kinda unfortunate, but as USB 3.0 is fairly new compared to USB 2.0, I will give Zalman the benefit of the doubt.

Been considering this case for budget builds for a while, Typically i prefer clean simple lines, like fractal, corsair 300, but ordered this for younger client that I know will like windowed side panel and LED fans. I was pleasantly surprised bu the overall quality of this case. Nice mesh ventilation top and front, led temp display and fan controller....Haven't finished build yet, but for $40 buck, this is an excellent option for anyone looking for a "cool" side paneled case

-Good cable management -lots of included screws, accessories, detailed instructions -includes fans! -rubber gromits for watercooling
|
-only one spot for a fan in the front
|
I picked this up on sale for $40, and it's definitely a great value case. Two top 120mm positions available, and 2 side fans, either 120mm or 140mm. The only draw back for me is that there's only one spot for a fan in the front, back being able to use a 140mm somewhat makes up for it. The cable management system is surprisingly well though out, considering the price of the case. If you're building on a budget, I highly recommend this case. On a side note, if you're going to go with "big air" cooling, look at getting a larger case. It get's pretty cramped in there. I've got the Hyper212 at the moment, and there's a decent amount of room. I'll be upgrading to the NH-C14 to keep a lower profile. The NH-D14 takes up a TON of room in this case. It brings the top fans very close to the heatsink, which I feel negates some of the cooling capacity of said fans.

No USB 3.0 ports. Not a big deal since most new motherboards have USB 3.0 on them anyway. You could also pick up a USB 3.0 expansion card if you really need it.

This case goes for $60+ in most places, and NCIX has it on special very often. Usually I see it for $44.99. $34.99 after rebate usually as well. Sometimes it even has free shipping. lol. Props to NCIX!
IMO this case is by far the best value in it's class, and it makes alot of the more expensive cases obsolete at the same time.
For anyone wondering about the build quality... My youngest brother has the Antec 300, and this case is made of the same material. So it's pretty solid. lol. I can't believe he paid over $60 for his case and it don't have half the features this one has. My other brother has the Antec 900, and this case has just as many features as that one plus a couple extras. Such as the fan controller and temperature sensor. They also cool about the same, but the Antec 900 has a tiny bit larger interior and one less fan(if all are populated). The Antec 900 is usually around $100. Not tring to take away from Antec though, they make great cases. It's just that they may need to adjust pricing with this case on the market.
I highly recommend this case to anyone considering a new case in the $30-$100 range.
