"But with the revised results of 252MHz, there isn't anything holding me back anymore. From what I can see here the KV8 Pro overclocks very well without any instability at our tested frequency. Combine this ability with Abit's uGuru tools and you have yourself a killer combination for overclocking

Highly stable and fast, this motherboard is great. Although Abit has recently gone through some financial troubles, they are back on track and I hope that their future products reflect the fit and finish of this motherboard. Love it.

Really the reason i got this board is because it was one of the cheapest at the time. But it turns out that's it a pretty good board. It has played all the game i threw at it without a problem. Although it is a 754, i am not one that needs to upgrade when new stuff comes out, so i am confident it would last a couple years no problem.

After owning this board for a month I love it. It took my Athlon 64 3000+ to 2.4 gHz with only a 1.6v vcore. The uGuru is also quite helpful for temperature monitoring via windows. The only thing that annoys me about this is the poor quality dimm locks used. One of my sticks of ram didn't lock in properly and was wrecked. I would definitely reccomend this product to anyone looking for a midrange board, but make sure you double check your ram.

This is a great Socket 754 board that overclocks like a champ. I achieved 9.5x252 on a A64 3000+ which is pretty amazing with a stock cooler. I'm sure I can get higher if I tweak the voltages some more and play with the memory timings.

The thing never worked. I tried two of them, not RMA's but two completely different boards but both KV8 pro's. Kept on crashing during games and turned off the monitor feed while surfing the net. Got a DFI LanParty and things couldn't be sweeter. Abit's Oskar Wu (MB Guru) defected to DFI and it show's.

Overall this is a good board i would definetly recommend to anyone. Good overclocking slim on the included trinkets but the price makes up for that has the hearders and everything for external connectors. Great board.

Overall I am quite happy with the board. Though socket 754 is going to be replaced very soon, the price simply makes the board a solid "mid point." (of course once NF4 comes out, me will dip in rite away)

So far out of the boards I have tried I like ABIT the best they work flawlesly out of the box and are very stable. Setup on this board was very easy. Windows installed without any problems. I read a few reviews of this board before buying it and they had good things to say as well. No overcocking yet as I am building it for a friend. Highly recomended board!
