This is a long term card that will satisfy even those most discerning of gamers. FPS has been unbelievable. Great job EVGA and NVidia!

Could not find anywhere to buy a aftermarket Version im glad i overclocked this Beast to 206 on the Core and 420 on the Memory and the card as a whole clocked to 2150 Mhz could do mmore but wont due to i dont want to kill my card .... ASIC Quality is 99.5 %Thank You!!

Pros Amazingly powerful card that will run even the most intense newest games Quiet, maybe it is an EVGA thing because I heard it was noisy from other brand purchasers but this one is definitely not noisy Visuals are amazing, can finally see what was missing with not being able to handle high settings in games FPS even in games that drag on this is insane, over 200 FPS in UE4 games

Cons -suckers edition reference cooler -Needs third party software to prevent thermal throttling
Summary Runs warm under load and you need third party software to increase temperature limit which in turn removes the throttling that WILL occur if you don't. Other than that, the gtx 1080 is amazing. Playing all games maxed out v1440p.
Overclocked to 2000mhz absolutely no problem. Pretty sure 2050 is where it gets flaky so I walked away at dialing in a 2000mhz boost clock
Pros Everything runs maxed at 2k, yet to test 4k Has never become hot, nor noisy
Cons Lower clock than non-reference models, minor
Summary This thing is amazing. I haven't owned a dedicated gaming machine ever before and it puts to shame the experience that i was used to. I have an HTC Vive (reason for this purchase) and the GTX 1080 is capable of buttery smooth gaming for every VR game I've tried

Summary This has been fantastic for regular games and with my HTC Vive. Super powerful, highest settings in every game I play, and I've yet to see any frame rate drops. Highly recommended.
Summary Installation was a snap but my mid tower case needed a bit of creative adjustments for the card to fit (Antec Nine Hundred Mid Tower). Other than that, works exactly as advertised.
Pros It's what you'd expect from a flagship card, quite fantastic.
Cons I had to update my BIOS to make my system post but it's not really the card's fault.
Summary I've been using EVGA GTX 670 FTW for 4 years and finally decided to upgrade, this card is a beast, quite silent even on full load and does insane frames on all games I've tested it on.
Pros This card is fantastic. I read almost every review I could get my hands on before I ordered it and even afterwards. Some say there are issues with throttling or heat but I have yet to experience ANY of that, I used the included software to adjust the fan curve and the card hardly ever goes above 65°C under full load WITH my overclocking. This card eats absolutely everything I have thrown at it and more. 1440p gaming has never dipped below 65fps on my G-Sync monitor. This thing is a BEAST.
Cons There is a fan revving issue for the first set of drivers released with the cards. This issue is going to be fixed with the next driver release forecast for June 10th, 2016.
Summary Easy to overclock with the EVGA Precision software, the fan is NOT loud at all.
