This is a good case for the money, especially when building a budget system. The backplate is very thin and has some sharp edges, so you need to be careful when mounting your hardware. I was surprised to see a 450W power supply when I opened it up. With plenty of drive bays for your hardware you can definately use the space effectively.       » READ MORE

for what you get, the price is pretty good, i had to replace the original power supply because it went on me. I got the case because I wanted to cut out a window for my self, and thats what I did, and it looks really great. The side panels are kind of hard to take of sometime, and the metal is really cheap. I wish the wiring from the HD and Power LEDs were not connected to the front panel, so when you remove the front panel you have a munch of wires that drag out.      » READ MORE

I was shipped a 9804 4HL model, rather than the 9804 SEL model as shown on ncix.com. I have purchased several of the black 9804 SEL's and am very pleased with them. This was my first beige purchase and I won't buy another.       » READ MORE

although the 350 watt power supply may stike you it isnt all that great the rails are actully pretty bad but the case itself is constructed very well with lost of room to work. i am happy with my purchase but its not all that great.      » READ MORE

As a bread-n-butter case, this NCIX case does it perfectly. I've built a dozen systems using this case and never had a single complaint or problem - despite using a varity of hardware each time. If all you need is a place to park your hardware and don't care what it looks like - this is perfect.       » READ MORE

Really quite a good case for the price. For a mid-range system you won't even need to upgrade the PSU. The front 120mm fan installation is great for cool, quiet operation and the single fan PSU contributes to the low noise factor.       » READ MORE

I love this case. It plain in that it doesn't try to be flashy, matches other parts well enough, and has really great aesthetics considering. The front intake vents allow great airflow, and with an LED fan glowing inside it looks sort of evil in a good way :)       » READ MORE

I'm more than please with this case. Infact I've used it on the last three systems I've built with NO PROBLEMS. There is lots of room for expansion (6 HD, 2FD, 4X 5¼" Bays). The powersupply I've had no problems with. One of the nice facts is that you have lots of free room in the front for the fan to be installed in, and that fan (120mm or 80mm) is getting all of the fresh air it wants. The back of the chasis allows for 2 fans (80mm) I use all the fan openings too (NCIX SUNON 80mm 4-pin when they are on sale get a few =) ). I personally like the look of it, the front openings are the ones that allow the fan to the front HD fan.       » READ MORE

This is my third 9804 case.....1st with XP1800, 2nd with 1900 and 3rd with XP2200, ASUS A7V333, 512MB, Maxtor 80GB, LG cdrw & DVD, MSI GF4-Ti4600 128MB, 3 case fans. My client's computer is always on and it has been running very stable. Other cases within this price range will not support XP2100 & above. I noticed this case has a new power supply. I guess this new PS has enough power to support the XP2200. My client has all three systems in his offices and none of them have any interference with their radio.
